I am working on a new map, however there is an issue.
This will be my first map where I will use mesh objects, so im rather new to using meshes.
I made a BEAUTIFUL (or so i think) arcway that is 60 units wide and 60 units tall.
It is imported into the map from an external map file useing inclued, and defined and grouped and rotated 3 times.
The problem is the game engine doesn't render the whole thing, all I get is 2 little stubs by the ground.
Is there any work around for this problem?

Re: umm wierd map problem
we would probably need to see your map & mesh code to be able to tell you what the issue is.

" defined and grouped and rotated 3 times"
That doesn't sound right... your object is probably way up in the air or off to the side somewhere. The order that you rotate something makes a big difference.
When I'm working with meshes, I usually build the object (in the editor) at position "0 0 0" then use shift to move it around (in the bzw). This also allows you to have multiple copies of something, and the group positions make sense (in the bzw).

Take a look at my Defender game mode concept.
Thinking is not an automatic process. A man can choose to think or to let his mind stagnate, or he can choose actively to turn against his intelligence, to evade his knowledge, to subvert his reason. If he refuses to think, he courts disaster: he cannot with impunity reject his means of perceiving reality.

Re: umm wierd map problem
no part of the mesh appeared, all I saw were 2 stubs, not an arch

Is it upside down and underground?
