Play time

I have a 10GB/month Broadband internet connection. If I lay say 5GB aside for server hosting, approximately how much play time would 5 players receive?

Depends on so many variables...numbers of shots, players, flags, jumping, rico, etc. With the number of players increasing the amount of data increases exponentially. It's approximately 5kb per second per player.

On a good day "Pandora" generates ~400 MiB traffic with an average of around 10-12 players at daytime. So in the unlikely event that your server is full all day 5 GB would be enough for like two weeks of hosting.

Also check with http://my.bzflag.org/w/Server_Bandwidth (that allows you to calculate a forecast for your line load kinda well)
