Panzerknacker aka Didi

It is with great sorrow that I inform the bz community of the passing of Panzerknacker today.
He suffered an allergic shock during holidays in France. He passed some days in french hospital; then was moved to hospital in Germany.
He died today at german time 18:12.

Before he died, he asked his son to contact gorgomol and myself regarding his illness and passing.

Pz was a good friend and a great help to me in dealing with gluten allergy. He took time from his busy schedule to send me links, recipes and such over the last few months. He personified what I love so much about the bz community. I will miss him greatly.

Panzerknacker was an amazing player, and he will be missed.

a longtime friend died this Saturday, August 4, 2012, my thoughts are with his wife and son.
Goodbye my old friend .

Trying to get upset again over dying friends, it seems to be happening alot.
Was an awesome guy, he cheered me up about my girlfriend moving away. He said he would "Look after her:p" in a joke kinda way.
Always a funny guy. Rest in peace.

Well, folks, we're glad to announce that there was a failure in english communication and pz is still alive and is in hospital. His kidneys shut down (NEVER a good sign)and had to be put on dialysis. Will keep you all updated.
He was critically ill, and the family was notified that he was dying.
To a young son whose english is limited, receiving shocking news....the communication broke down and he misunderstood and what he said in english was that his father died.

Sorry for the confusion.....focus on the fact that we now have the hope that we will have panzerknacker back.
