Maps used on turkey.moongroup

Post by ringo »

Does anyone know where I can find the maps that use to be on turkey.moongroup. There is one in particular that I'm looking for and I can't remember it's name.

However hopefully with a little description of it someone might remember it. In all 4 corners, there were teleports to the level directly above it. To get to the tp, you had to go to the corner, jump up a level and enter the TP which took you up a level. The center of the map was a SB camper's dream spot. Near the center of the map, there where 2 teleports that would take you to the top level inside a building structure. There were tunnels leading to the inside of this structure and the only way in was through the tp's on the lower level, the tunnel or jumping in through a higher level. You would pretty much commit suicide if you used Laser and OO was king.

I wish I could describe it better. Hopefully someone will be able to give me the name or a link to download the map.

Regards,
Dan

I believe it was one of Spiff's map...I recall that map - not the name though. I think it was the last map ever hosted there (on a regular basis anyway)

The only thing I can tell you is that it was clearly derived from Canyon.bzw.

Canyon 3.0

Post by ringo »

Yes Canyon 3.0 is the closest to what was being played the last time I was on turkey.

In the version that I played on there, There were several pyramids on top that where drive/shoot thru. And in the last version I remember playing on, there were some teleporters on the very top that would take you to some platforms high above in the corners.

I'll work on modding this version to what I remember. Shouldn't be too difficult.

Thanks,

Ringo
