New german bzflag-Page + Forum / Neue deutsche bzflag-Seite
Hi dudes.
I come from Germany/Berlin and I am new here, but I love playing bzflag like you too (as I expect).
Some of my friends and I are forming at the moment a huge german bzflag-Site including a forum to build an discussion platform for german, maybe non english-speaking, players. Another target of our page is to get new german bzflag-players and to set up a big bzflag-community.
On our site, you will get some general information about bzflag, our clan [phagozytose], some strategies, tipps, a linklist (with a link to this board, of course) and much more, for example that forum.
I hope, this topic won't be closed or deleted, because, right, this is advertising, but advertising in order to make the bzflag-fanbase growing und to hire new - german - bzflag-Players.
The reason why the site is speaking german, not english, should be clear: We want to become the biggest german bzflag-Fanpage.
So, please keep this topic open and to the german players: Visit our page and join the (atm small ) community.
The URL is:
http://bzflag.saturos.de
[We are working to get a real domain, so this isn't the final adress!]
Hoping to get some feedback and to be able to welcome new members in our forum.
With regards
Saturos

how about just stating its a german/french/swiss/dutch site only......."maybe non english-speaking"............is probably accurate, but it sounds a little prejudice. (just trying to diffuse an argument before someone misintreprets it)
great......will you have a map archive?
.........you kids, get out of my tank...........

Could be possible. It isn't completely finished yet, especially the download-section will get content soon.
And you are right, swiss players are welcome too!

What I was trying to say, which I probably mangled:
Maybe we are all getting ready for the next great war.
Which I clarified as a joke: Just kidding!!! Just kidding!!!
Then I told him my family has a German and Austian background and some of them still spoke German, and I studied it to be able to speak and to translate old family documents.
I probably mangled that, too. I'm pretty rusty.
