I truly am going to miss seeing RR online. Whether he was playing or observing, he ALWAYS said hi and his presence was fun for all of us. Hoping he’s watching over us with his perma-Wings flag from heaven.

i will miss saying "yo runs" to him and getting greeted back and teased about my choice of color. maybe he'll keep on observing our games. i will be playing as green in his dear memory for a week. rest in peace, kind-hearted, naive friend. you will not be forgotten.

In BZFlag, you watched and observed over us, had fun matches with us, but sadly no longer are with us.
A day we dread, sadness felt, although it may not have been said, it could no longer be seen, when you would play for your favourite team. Sadly, this all, was not a bad dream.
There is much we didn't know of you, much is a mystery, but lovingly we can say: you are part of BZFlag history.
With sorrow in our hearts, we acknowledge your depart.

Runruns was missed long before we learned of his death - he was a such constant presence on servers.
The Memorial event in his honor was so well attended that he had to smiling and knowing, Runruns is hear in spirit!
