L cant kill CL

Hmm...in 1.10.8, Laser flags cant kill ppl that have Cloaking.

They never have been able to, this is the laser stopper. Laser has, and as far as I know never will be able to kill cloaking. It's not a bug, otherwise Laser would be far more effective.

I was upset when I found this out, because it really wasn't well-documented like the stealth/GM counter - it felt like some huge conspiracy the veterans kept from the newbies. It's a cool tradeoff though. Not being able to see your archenemy adds to the paranoia you get when you're zoomed in with binoculars and are worried about what's behind you.

exactly, CL is the counter flag, If you pick up laser it, If you have flag help on by pressing "f", tells you that it cannot kill CL, that is how it has been. And will continue to be.

darnit, our veteran secret has been let out to the newbies. I've killed so many Lasers with CL because they didn't know I was invincible to them. Fun times.

funny, i never thought it as a vet secret. Every help page i've looked at has it posted, And like I said, if you have flag help enabled ("f" key) it tells you laswer can't kill CL

and IIRC the cloaking flag help also tells you that laser cannot kill you.

The secret isn't entirely out, because if you want to do a little extra secret trick with Laser, just press the REMOVED DUE TO USER BEING STUPID button when you have Laser flag. I have tried it myself, and it really is something to trick people with because it makes your tank flash, so it is visible, then invisible, then visible, ... it's great!

Really now, did you have to make me feel like such an idiot? I would've been happy just knowing I was a fool for not reading the documents closely enough, but to tell me it's in the flag help...
