Silly new feature: in experimental mode, your tank
is rendered as a model when you zoom in tightly.
The radar tank treads move, the tank cloaks, resizes,
and does everything else that you'd normally see
with your current settings.
(this screenie also shows a bit of the fast radar mode)
nice, suggestion: mabye you could put a red line around the tank where it would count if a bullet hits it, and mabye even the "non-graphics-existance" line on the bullets too.
Scorch, radar is basically useless by the
time you're zoomed in far enough to see
the tank model instead of a square (and
I'm not quite getting your second point.)
That indicates that he's been verified by the list server - e.g. that the person in the screenshot is the same trepan that posts here (or at least knows his password). There's also @, which marks admins, and -, which indicates that the user is known but unverified - like if trepan tried to play as me, but doesn't know my password.
Any closer Trepan, and we'd be able to see you through the top hatch.

"So there I was, all alone, facing all of the enemy. I started driving in circles, until I had them surrounded, and then I escaped in the confusion."
the concept of "cop" is not ingraned into the software. All it knows about is "default", "Admin", and "registered". Every server does it's own cop system, some with more then one level of "cop" accesss. This is why it was not put into the server when I did the inital group implementation. The symbols come from the master list groups. and the only ones that can be consistnt are the ones the software knows by default. Putting a cop group in by default would limit how people could would use the permision groups.
Weeell. I don't know about programing past the extent of what it is....so I wouldn't be able to make a patch. Sooo, I'll just stick with whatever is there.
so is there literally a zoom in option for radar in 2.0. as in hold down + or - and it will gradually get closer or farther? or am i just lost
"Those who say they have never been afraid are either lying, or their life has never amounted to much. Fear is nothing to be ashamed of. Often it makes man a better fighter, it inhances his senses, it gives him caution, and other qualities he will need. So when i am about, be wise....and fear."
