Flag Idea - Flame Thrower!!!

An idea for a new weapon flag....

I'm thinking it could have the same range as the theif flag (You know the little bar that shoots out...)

Might require a new graphic file for the fire, unless they retro-fit the fire from when a tank blows up.

A regional weapon, shoots only forward. It could be "regulated" by "bursts" of flames for each shot to limit the number of shots on different servers. I say use bursts of flames rather than a continuous stream of fire

What y'all think?

Would it affect tanks only on the same level as the firing tank or would the flames float up in the air and kill tanks in the way of the fire's trajectory upwards?

I agree with Scorch, this sounds to me like a machine-gun with a different look. Sorry, but keep trying.

Sounds cool but it is a lot like machine gun. I would modify it so that it's more like a real flamethrower (or at least what the gamers of the world generally consider a flamethrower to be). Like, it could be one constant stream of fire that is slow to adjust to turning and has a minor delay after hitting the trigger.
