Tell us more about your soft/hardware.
For example, I am on an iBook running Mac OS. The F1 Key changes the screen brightness.
I have to press F1 + fn. :)

For some reason I've hear that a non-SDL build will cause some key mappings to not work. I've read that somewhere in the forums... but am not entirely sure.

That is entirely correct.

Tell us more about where you got this BZFlag build. Did you compile it yourself, or did you download it? What version of BZFlag is it?

Does F4 work for minimizing BZFlag? If F4 FAILS to minimize your window, then it is just about undeniably SDL.

I feel so much better now that I'm correct! :D

Download SDL at http://www.libsdl.org and then try installing BZFlag (Or try HT's directions. He's good at this).

He's on windows, guys, SDL is not gonna help him. Well, it would, except that I haven't done an SDL build on windows since last year. That said, it ought to be working for him anyway ;).

There's obviously something wrong with it if it doesn't work the way it's supposed to ;)

Be patient, next time I boot to windows I'll take a look at it.
