BzfEd - World Editor for Linux

Post by bzfed »

BzfEd is an application to allow you to create worlds for the game <a HREF="http://BZFlag.SourceForge.net/">BZFlag</A>. It runs under the GNOME-2.x / GTK+-2.4 environment on Linux, and uses OpenGL / gtkglext for visualization. BzfEd is based on bzedit 2.1 source code by David Trowbridge, Dan Kuester, and Jeff Myers.

This is a maintenance release of the old source code of bzedit 2.1. Source code will compile and run now. No new features at this time to the source code and no new features introduced by BZFlag 2.0. Name changed from bzedit to bzfed. Next release will start to add BZFlag 2.0 features.

You can download the source code file <a href="http://www.bzfed.org/prg/bzfed/bzfed-0. ... .tar.gz</a> by clicking <a href="http://www.bzfed.org/prg/bzfed/bzfed-0. ... z">here</a>.

More information may be found at <a href="http://www.bzfed.org/index.php?module=p ... fed.org</a>.

techincaly somone could, I don't belive anyone has. There would probably also need to be some tweaks, because some linux functions jus don't exist on windows.

You'd hav to the the origonal authors to do it.

it will, you just have to do it right, search the other forums on how to start a server with a map file.
