My 'secret' project

Post by Supertanker »

Well I've been working for awhile on a 'secret' project. Its a total remake of the origional levelzone.

Since i just realize that colors + web site themes is a very bad combo for me, the site is just plain grey (Plain and Grey, eh, RPG?). I have gotten some maps on there (It takes almost as much work using PHPmyadmin as it does editing HTML) and more will come soon, I know i need to GIMP myself a header im working on that, and screenshots will come along some day...

I present to you... (Pulls blanket off of a statue)...

Unfortunately no tutorials yet, ive been focusing on maps instead of the other stuff.

Does the theme look okay?

I tried it on three different browsers; Firefox, Opera, and (I sunk so low) I tried IE. For some reason the font for the header (soon to be image) looks so much better in firefox. In Opera the border "stands out" about a quarter inch from the content itself and the header is total !@#$. In IE it looks good actualy (except for the slightly think border and again total !@#$ header), and in firefox it looks best (Well what do you expect, I mean its firefox)

Also in some browsers the word BZMAP is down a line and on IE its at the top

The site can be viewed at 800x600 but is optimaly viewed at 1024x768 with Mozilla Firefox.

Thx.

Does anyone know how to make it create a new window when you click a link WITHOUT target="_blank"?

I know dutchria used a javascript tidbit but i'm reluctant to use anything from his site...

Why don't you just use target="_blank"? It works, so it'll do.
