Please note that you can't make any actual maps yet. (oh, and I'm a tester 8) )

I can send you the latest binary I got from Binary. We're (not Binary) going out to eat right now, so it can't be until I get back.

The version A Meteorite has no graphical interface.
(OpenGL was not added)

We just added a simple square.
(that changed color's everytime we render it again.)

At this moment the box rendering code is in.

It also renders a grassy area (no texture... it's light green) and the wall (grey).

I can't get it to compile so I'm about to e-mail MACnus and see if he can add the correct code.
(linking error in the ObjC code... when calling my render function)

After that I will either host the binaries on SVN or something like freewebs.

Also, just so people know... were having trouble naming the objects... conversion from C to ObjC is either wrong or my memMan code is messed up. (I suspect the latter)

Either way I will replace the memMan code with an STL list object. simply because the size of the code will be reduced.

Saving... Wooo Hoooo

Post by BinarySpike »

For those of you who might want to know... saving is almost done...

I just don't know where to save the data but I've actualy been able to output it :)

Openning will require some code from MACnus so I can hook into the list and add objects...

My nav dialog has no title bar and I don't know how to get specificly an FSRef from it...

And i've had some admin trouble at the place where I ask about bugs/problems in my programs so I hope it doesn't get me another day ban :-P

I was hosting a map made in iBZEdit but while I was playing Mario Sunshine My computer turned off...:?: :?: :?:

I can't get on my "coding" machine and can't do it on this comp because I haven't done a commit...

I hopefully just need to set a title bar name and the title bar will apear.

I just figured out how to get an FSRef through Nav dialog... but it require's calling functions in Apple Events Manager...
(Why did apple do that???)

Anyway, Hope to finish saving by tommorrow.
(I'm learning ObjC/Cocoa right now... I'll try to write my own hook functions )

No, finish the saving Dialog....

http://ibzedit.forumsplace.com/post-148.html

I am able to export maps... but not to file... you gota c/p.

I'm getting "EXC_BAD_ACCESS"... but when I remove certain code (Apple Event coercing) it works... but it doesn't mess up at that exact point when I'm debugging it... so it must be long-term...

Anyway, the Edit dialog is coming along... once it has spin, shift, and scale I'll be able to work on a basic mesh object.
:D

Anyway, I plan on getting a few testers once the saving is done.
