how do I set my conf to allow a count down if I try /countdown I get:

[server]: this server was not configured for a manual clock countdown


ummm I have the league now so I kind of need this countdown feature

hmm well I added -timemanual to the conf and now I get

[server] this server was not configured for timed matches

this will set the time limit
-time 3600

And this will tell the server to quit after one game

but there is a thing called a countdown you can set it wherever you want

on match servers

-time will set the time to count down to till the end of the match

As far as I know, you have to set the time limit with the -time switch in your conf file. sorta like:

Code: Select all

-time 1800
and then use the /countdown command from a client. You can give arguments with /countdown such as:

Code: Select all

/countdown 15


which counts down from 15 instead of 10 (the default) before a match.

no but time sets the time from which the first player joins not from which I type /countdown

well then you have to add -timemanual
but with -time as well

-timemanual
-time 1800

will give you a 1/2 hour match manualy started

to make it auto start add this line:
-g

yes it has teh effect of superkill

what I have seen is when the countdown is over your get a game over sign flashing on your screen.
