i got a patch from silvercat.bzleague.org w/the crosshairs. how can i use it? thanks. btw i am on windows

You have to be able to compile your own BZFlag. I remember seeing that patch on sf.net and I couldn't get it to apply. Patches, when released, only work with the code it was patched for. If the file it patches changes (which happens often) it will fail miserably.

umm yea that was a lot of help beings the link that they link me to is not found on that server! arg i hate that. anyone else got any suggestions

Matt, do you realize this patch probably isn't going to help you? If you used this at lasermania it would quite possibly block your view of other players at really far distances.

oh... well i am over that now. i am now using a usb convertoer to convert a ps2 controller to usb. it is awsome!
