Okay all you wings gurus out there...I am stuck

I have made the object below. As you can see, lots of similar faces. I have made a texture that covers the area highlighted and I want it to repeat around each column. How do I tell Wings UVmapper to use the same texture multiple times, but with different tex-coords each time? I got it to do it with a single column side, but I really don't wanna have to unfold the whole object and have this massive texture file for the whole thing.

Below are pictures of the object in question and the texture I want to repeat on it.

Maybe I don't know what I am talking about, but eveytime I try to export Wings Data with textures and convert it to bzw data it never works. Can the conversion process even support this.

Can all of the components: .obj, converter, support it?

why not convert the object to BZW first, then apply your texcoords in your text editor?

That's a real pain.
The way to do it would be to overlap all the similar sides and map them to the same points on the texture, but I never got that far with wings.
This is why I wrote the blender exporter, 'cos wings never exported the textures right.

Well, for starters, I have no idea how to apply the tex-coords in a text editor...and on top of that, it is lessee here....heck I ain't countin' em, but it is probably at 100 faces, thats a lot of typing.

Anyway, I solved my problem, sort of, I just redid the whole thing with one object with all four sides textured and then redid the whole cluster from scratch. Someone on the Wings Renderousity forum answered my question, I didn't quite understand what they said, but I gathered that it WAS possible to do what I wanted. I was in a hurry and didn't want to mess around trying what they said, so I just started from scratch.

As for the export thing. I was doing it in Wings and exporting to .obj and converting with modeltool. But elsewhere on this forum I found Trepan's wings to .bzw exporter and so far it has worked like a champ, it even handles scaling things between wings and .bzw.

Here is the result (just a preliminary, have a LOT more texture work to do).

And here is a Yafray render of the same thing.

Teppic:
The Wings3D to BZW exporter has no problem outputting
correct texture coordinates for me. Dunno what you're doing
to make it fail...

ClayOgre:
This question would have been better directed at one of the
Wings3D forums.
