ok here is what happens:
Im at a server with rogue geno, and my client shows that I have 55 points.
But, according to others, I only have 1 point
when you are geno-ed, your score does not go down.
I don't know if anyone has posted about this before.

What do you mean? You get 55 points by killing w/ geno and nobody else things so or you are killed 55 times by geno and your score doesnt go down?

you are killed by geno, and your score doesn't go down.
ex:
my client shows I have a score of 45 points
I log onto the server under a different callsign ( still signed in under win xp) and it shows win xp has a score of -22
this only happens on servers with rogue geno.

Absolute scoring is done in 2.1 which should fix your problem.
Roguegeno probably uses a buggy API function that will cause that to happen. However it can't be fixed without updating the protocol. Hence 2.1.

actualy it does not use the bugy "set score" API you talk about. it just kills them the same way a superkill would.
any bugs in it are bugs in the core of bzfs.
it woudl be best to debug the problem to know what it realy is.
