This flag would be unusual. It means Touring Tank.
You cannot shoot or be shot. Mapmakers could use it if their map is one like a puzzle, or there are places in the map where the tank shouldn't be killed.
just an idea

Just looking around
I think this is a good idea, as for V2 maps you can't use BZEdit to look over a map - you've pretty much got to get inside it. In particular, it'd be very, very useful if (when in this mode, not sure you should use a flag to get it) when you touched an object the client showed object information: X, Y, Z, sizes, rotation, maybe texture names. Otherwise, it's really annoying to have to search through a text map file to find a particular object. (Note that this wouldn't be completely trivial, as the map file might define an object as a group, and then instantiate it somewhere else).
Another good thing would be to have the tank's current X, Y, Z, and angle shown, either all the time or on request. Then I could drive to where I want to put an object, face in the right direction, and write down what to use in the map file.
For just general examination of map files, it'd be nice if you could save part of the map file (say, in a given radius of your position), so if you wanted to extract components from a file you could do a bit of the work interactively.

This is a good idea, why bother with having a seperate world editor render your map when you can just run it on the client. Using the game client to test your map is the ultimate WYSIWYG.The Purple Panzer wrote: Another good thing would be to have the tank's current X, Y, Z, and angle shown, either all the time or on request. I think it should be another observer mode (roaming, driving with, etc), selectable by hitting f8 in observer mode.ducatiwannabe wrote:Just have a selection instead of a flag. You can pick a team like rogue, observer, automatic, or explorer. On explorer mode you can't fight, only drive around.
