Does any one think that Bz would run on palm os?
I think it would be pretty cool. I dont know much about programming so i couldnt convert it if it was possible.

I dont really think it would be cool. IT would be kinda small on the screen. Nice idea tho.

well...
unless you had a high res palm with a lage screen.
whic h i do.
and with bluetooth- you could get on line and mutiplay.
of couse- the grafics would be horrible and may be very slow..
but it wuould be worth it to have bz where ever yyou go..
or maybe the bzadmin client on palm os.......

I've seen a server owner running the client on his cellphone. Not sure of the details tho.

i have too...
but the actual bzclient and not the server client would be intreseting...
of couse the low res graphics would kinda ruiin it...
oh well....

My Palm T|X is capable of music, video playback, wireless-b, and can pull off any palm app available. As much as it rules, it is not capable of 3D graphics. My screen is fairly large for a palm though. The Palm T|X uses a 312 MHz Intel XScale processor so itd be able to handle bzadmin without a problem.

i have a tungstun t3...
it has a 400mhz intel xscale
if yours could run bzadmin mine could too....

I think running BZ on a handheld would be pretty close to impossible... you might be able to port BZ to Pocket PC with about a metric buttload of work, but Palm is an entirely different teacup of manure. It's not going to happen.

For one thing, Palm handhelds don't have 3D accellerators of any value, and software rendering is out of the question with handheld-grade processors.

If you want portable BZ, you should check out Linux-based handhelds.
Save the trees, wipe your butt with an owl.
If catapults are outlawed, only outlaws will have catapults.
