Heh, I've done that same thing with the laser texture on a map that I never finished (hardly started, in fact). I'm sure it wil be cool as always.

totally bypasses the seemingly bad graphics of bzflag as a whole
this maps brings mapmaking in bzflag to a whole new level

yeah, he's brought it to a whole new level more than 8 months ago, i think even more than a year ago.

First there was a THUMP , that was King
After there was a Blaze of LIGHTNING

Sorry - this map has died a natural death. Too many polygons and not enough time to fix it. And you are right Green Manalishi, the original map idea sorta morphed into H2O.
I should be back making maps after the summer. I have been extremely busy at work and home (building a new deck, yay!).
Thanks for all of the kind words. I'll prolly be brainstorming over the next few months for a new map
