BZWAR

Post by Zelgadis »

Hi all!

I have maken a server: bzwar.bzflag.org: 5154, 5155, 5156, 5157

And i want ask is 200 GB Traffic enough for the server???

5155 is a public server, there are every day about 20-30 players on it.

The thers are official match servers, used only 3-4 times a week.

Is 200 GB enough?

If the kind of traffic I saw today is an indication of what it will always be, you will most likely burn up that 200GB barrier in two weeks.

that server is neat. hopefully you can get a good low-ping host for it, I'd like to play there more often.

hmm!

I have maken a calculation.
On a day it can be 6.6 GB burned.
How I have seen it, yesterday it will be enough! (I think)

Yesterday it was only 2,4 GB burned

yes, the server is fun, thank you 1st Consul.

It could use a few more good admins, though. There were some problem players there today.
The laser shots were weird today, is it supposed to be like that ?

And you think one extra person is going to matter?

Think of Boxy War, met has at least 30 people, probably more on staff at thats server.

Seeing the level of popularity this server is having the same number would be good.

just be careful in your admin choices please... Admins can often make or break a server.
Beware! I'm going to clone myself and spread those clones all over the world!

Good point. Probably a current admin set the _laserAdLife up. I see it's fixed now.

yes, marching band.

I really wish I hadn't signed up again. My hand is now completely screwed up from drumming.

anyways, I'll help the server out when I can.
