Nice site.. though a "Skip this" link would be helpful on the spastic flash introduction.. :-)

So.. for my first help translating.. how about a similar link that says "skip this" or "skip intro" or just "skip".. or even better something like suggested:
http://www.actionscript.org/resources/a ... Page1.html

Cheers!

Is there a particular reason, visitors are forced to scroll to see the skip this? Especially since the flash is being made to expand to the size of the window, it shouldn't be too difficult to leave a little bit for the footer.. While perhaps cool the first couple times, that intro will get very old and annoying very fast. And if they're looking for the skip button, you've just slowed them down (and ticked them off) by putting it off of the page and making them scroll to get to it (meanwhile *bang* *ba* *dum*! goes the audio and the animation has already started.

I agree. I would never of noticed you had to scroll down to skip it. Its a nice intro, but im sure you can fit a "skip this" in there somewhere

something more to the first (welcome) site:
It looks good in most browsers and the SKIP link on top is perfect...
...but did you have a look into the HTML source code?
> no DOCTYPE definition
> META and SCRIPT tags placed before the HTML and HEAD tags
> links without any content
> wrong placed TITLE tag
> tags end before they start
> wrong and missing attributes for tags
> no HTML end tag
> many (7) javascript areas...a lot for a simple welcome site with an flash intro and a SKIP link, isn't it?
