couple things
1) could you try to find a host with less adds? I'm not sure too many of the things that site links to are very savory, so downloader be-ware.
2) you don't need to include the libcurl lib and debug info files.
3) your zip file is not setup like anything else anyone has ever done, and includes a lot of extra files (do we really need to know what PID you used when testing?, the uninstall.exe is pointless, there are extra configs that have data that you may not want to publish, etc..). Perhaps you should look into distributing a more standardized pacakage.

Try installing the Visual C++ 2008 SP1 runtime.

Yeah, I downloaded it from mediafire & filefactory but when I unzip it a bunch of the .dll's are corrupted & either "the program failed to start" or "not a valid win 32 app"
Now I'm intrigued by this :?:

Well, this isn't an official build (in other words, it wasn't built by one of the developers), so we really aren't going to provide support for it.

I just wanted to ask, will the acceleration be standard or can it be switched off?

the various tank accelerations are now controlled by a BZDB variable, not a command line option. The variables must always have values. 0 is a valid value.
